Lucky for Life is a multi-state lottery game run by the New England Lotteries board. Aside from Colorado, Lucky for Life is played in 26 states, including Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont.
To play, you pick 5 numbers from 1-48 and a Lucky Ball number from 1-18.
A jackpot win gives you $1,000 a day for life — all you need to do is match all 6 winning numbers. The second prize win, meanwhile, gives you $25,000 a year for life. You can win this by matching all 5 regular numbers but not the Lucky Ball.
