The Arizona Lottery's version of Pick 3 adds a nice twist to the popular game type that's sure to spice things up. Find out how in the sections below.

How to Play Pick 3

Pick Your Numbers

You can either choose Quick Pick and let the computer select numbers for you or you can select 1 or 2 sets of 3-digit numbers from 000 to 999. If you choose to play 2 sets of numbers, the prize payouts you can win are halved, but your chances of winning are effectively doubled.

Buy Your Ticket

If you are in Arizona you can purchase Pick 3 from an Arizona Lottery Retailer for $1 per ticket. As stated above, each ticket can be split into 2 plays, or kept as 1 play.

Pick 3 Drawing Schedule

Pick 3 drawings are held six days a week, from Mondays through Saturdays, at 7:00 PM MST.

Ticket sales stop at 6:59 PM on draw nights and resume immediately after the draw.

Pick 3 Payout and Mechanics

The Arizona Lottery's version of Pick 3 lets you split a single ticket into 2 separate plays. Doing so effectively doubles your chances to win, at the cost of slashing the prize payouts by half.

You must also select your play type from the following: straight, box 3-way, box 6-way, front pair, or back pair. The different play types offer varying odds of winning and prize structures as well. Check the table below for a handy guide.
