The Pick is the Arizona Lottery’s own jackpot game. The jackpot starts at $1 million and keeps growing until someone wins it. The Pick also lets players play EXTRA! for a chance to win instant prizes.
The Pick Drawing Schedule
The Pick drawings are held every twice a week – Wednesday and Saturday evenings, at 7:00 PM MST.
Ticket sales stop at 6:59 PM on draw nights, and resume immediately after the official draw.
The Pick Payout and Mechanics
Featuring a traditional 6/44 matrix, The Pick requires players to pick 6 numbers from a pool of 1 to 44. Simply match all the numbers with the official draw and take home the top prize of at least $1 million. There are four prize tiers in total.
Each The Pick play costs $1.
EXTRA!
You can play EXTRA! for an additional $1 or $2 cost to your ticket. This game mode allows you win instant cash prizes of up to $500 (or $250, if you chose the $1 option).
By playing EXTRA!, you will receive 6 EXTRA! numbers printed on your ticket. If any of the EXTRA! numbers match your number for the drawing, you automatically win the prize amount shown next to the EXTRA! number.
