About the New Mexico Lottery
The New Mexico Lottery was established in 1996 and is a member of the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL). It is governed by a board of seven directors who are appointed by the state.
Revenues generated by the New Mexico Lottery are 100% designated to the state Lottery Tuition Fund, which aids New Mexico students in pursuing higher education.
New Mexico Lottery Tickets
New Mexico Lottery tickets can be purchased from any authorized retailer withing the state of New Mexico. You can find them in many gas stations, groceries, and convenience stores across the state.
Take note that while most states allow between 180 days to a whole year for winners to claim their prize, the New Mexico Lottery requires all winners to redeem their tickets within 90 days after the official draw (for draw games), or the announced end game date (for instant games).
Can I buy NM Lottery tickets online?
No. New Mexico laws do not permit the sale of lottery tickets over the internet. You will have to visit an authorized retailer to purchase tickets.
New Mexico Lottery Games and Drawing Schedule
Lotto America is a multi-state lottery that has rolling jackpot which starts at $2 million. To play, pick 5 numbers from 1 to 52, and an additional Star Ball number from 1 to 10. You can also enable the All Star Bonus to multiply non-jackpot prizes by up to 5 times!
Lotto America has drawings every Wednesday and Saturday evening at approximately 9:15 PM MST.
Roadrunner Cash is only available in New Mexico. It features a minimum jackpot of $25,000, which grows until it's won. To play, just pick 5 numbers from 1 to 37. Roadrunner Cash has four prize tiers. Match between 2 to 5 numbers and you're a winner!
Roadrunner Cash has daily drawings at 9:30 PM MST.
New Mexico's Lucky Numbers Bingo game is a cross between Keno and Bingo. You can choose from 1 to 10 Lucky Numbers to play and you get two ways of winning. First, you can win up to $10,000 by matching numbers to form winning Bingo patterns. Second, a top prize of $200 is up for grabs if you match 10 numbers with that of the official drawing.
Lucky Numbers Bingo has drawings everyday, every 4 minutes.
Win up to $500 by playing New Mexico Lottery's Pick 3 game. Just pick 3 numbers from 0 to 9 (you can pick the same number multiple times). If you match 2 numbers (front pair or back pair), or all 3 (in exact order or in any order), you win.
Pick 3 has twice-a-day daily drawings, at 1:00 PM and 9:30 PM MST.
Pick 4 lets players win up to $5,500 every day. Pick 4 numbers from 0 to 9 (you can pick the same numbers multiple times) and if you match the drawn numbers in exact order, you win the top prize. There are other ways of winning, including matching in any order, pair play, combination, and so on.
