True to its name, Ohio’s Classic Lotto sticks to a traditional lottery formula: players must pick 6 numbers, each between 1-49. Matching all 6 numbers drawn gets you the jackpot.

You can also opt to play with the KICKER, which offers additional prizes of up to $100,000.

How the Ohio Classic Lotto KICKER Works

For an additional $1, you can add the KICKER option to your entry. Alongside every Classic Lotto draw, officials also draw a 6-digit KICKER number. If your numbers match any 2 up to 6 digits of the KICKER number, you can earn an additional prize.

Ohio Classic Lotto Drawing Schedule

Classic Lotto draws are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at around 7:05 PM Eastern Time. You can buy eligible tickets until 7 PM on the same day.

Ohio Classic Lotto Payout

The game starts with a jackpot of $1 million, which rolls over whenever nobody wins. The prize rollover amount depends on ticket sales, though it’s guaranteed to increase by at least $100,000 each time.
